The character of our aged wines can be found in the Tempranillo grape which confers all its personality on the wine. This is blended with just the right amounts of Graciano and Mazuelo needed to bring added smoothness, aromas or complexity, as necessary, to the final product. |

Obviously, not all grapes are the same, the degree of ripeness and condition of the grape depends, among other factors, on the location of the vineyard, climate, etc., so the districts are selected and harvested separately for vinification and keeping for ageing. Only the best grapes are used for this process. Cask-ageing is for a period ranging between 12 and 36 months, since it is the evolution of the wine in the cask which determines when bottle ageing should begin. |
