Made from grapes of the Tempranillo (90%) and Mazuelo (10%) varieties. Fermented at 28º to 30º C with 20 days maceration. After fermentation it is transferred to French- and American-oak casks where it is aged for 18 to 24 months. It is then aged in the bottle for a further 18 months. Cherry red colour with garnet hues and golden glints. Very clear and bright. Good intense aromas in which the perfect assemblage of all the nuances stands out: spices, noble oak and vanilla. Full of flavour, vigorous in the mouth, full-bodied and well-structured. Long finish with a good balance between oak and ripe fruit flavours. Best drunk at between 17º and 19º C. Perfect with game and strong cheeses. |
